I had to let my beloved DaemonTools go when I upgraded to Windows 7. Before the upgrade install began Windows let me know that Daemon Tools would probably not be functioning, and they were right. 🙁
Luckily I found a new Virtual CD Drive program and it’s just as free as Daemon Tools. It’s called Virtual CloneDrive and it’s made by Slysoft, the makers of the very popular CloneDVD. It’s not a bad little app and I like not having to mount the image, all you have to do is just browse to your image file and double click it and CloneDrive goes right ahead and mounts it and autoruns it for you. Perfect.
Most Netbooks don’t come with CD drives so definitely check it out of you need that sort of thing.
